Ask in Faith

15 March 2025

If it seems that you are not enjoying the rich blessings that your Heavenly Father has prepared for you, it is because you do not come to Him in faith.  When we believe in God’s Word, we would enjoy the richest blessings.  There is great spiritual strength to be obtained from God.  God can, and will help.  If we ask Him in faith, watching unto prayer, God will give grace and understanding… “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” Psalm 84:11.  We should never neglect to pray. The grace of God comes through the channel of living faith, prayer and the study of His Holy Word.

It is our privilege through faith to lay hold of, and claim the promised blessings from God even before they are seen and felt. We must let our faith take hold of the promised blessings from God, and believe that we shall receive them, and then we will receive these blessings, “What things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24.  Here is bare faith, to trust that you will receive the blessing even before you are aware of it. Do not be afraid to trust God. Rely on His sure promises.  Do not let go of the promises of God, even if you do not feel or see the immediate answers to your prayers. God is wise and He will never withhold any good thing from the one that walks uprightly.

We must not confuse faith with the blessings that we receive through faith.  The very time to practice faith is when thick black clouds seem to oppress the mind; then it is the time to let your active faith illuminate the darkness and disperse the thick clouds. Only those who obey the Word of God can claim the glorious promises contained in His Word. True faith rests on the sure promises contained in the Bible. Pray in faith, and wait on God – not in anguish of spirit, and anxiety, but in steadfast faith and calm trust.

Our Heavenly Father understands the needs of His Earth-born children. He knows what it is we wish for even before we ask Him for it. He sees all of our struggles with doubts and temptations; He regards our sincerity. It is our honour to pray to God with confidence, and in simplicity state our needs to the Lord and claim His promises. It is the fervent, faithful prayer that is heard in Heaven and the answer is sent from God to Earth.
