The Great Master Artist

27 September 2025

God is the designer and creator of all things, and He loves the wonderful works of nature that He has made; but a beautiful character shining out of His Earth-born children is what He loves most. A beautiful character will never perish but will endure for all of eternity.

The great Master Artist designed the exquisite roses, the resplendent colors and intricate design of the peacock’s magnificent feathers making him breathtakingly beautiful; but how much more does God care for human beings, whom He has made in His own image. God desires above all else to see His character reflected in His Earth-born children whom He has created for His glory.

The most beautiful piece of art cannot compare with beauty of character, which is the fruit of the Holy Spirit’s working in the soul. God will impart to the soul the beauty of His own character. If we draw close to Jesus and seek by His grace to live a well-ordered life, He will keep us from straying into forbidden paths.

If we keep ourselves in the love of God, praying for His grace and strength each day; and if we would conduct ourselves as if we were in the immediate presence of God, He will save us from yielding to temptation, and will keep us pure and spotless until the last. We must hold the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end, and our ways will be established in God; and the good work He has begun in us by His grace, He will finish by crowning us with glory in the Heavenly Kingdom.

In the book of God’s providence, the volume of life, we are each given a page. That page contains every particular of our life history. God’s knowledge of each one of us is so intimate that He even knows the number of hairs on our head. God’s Earth-born children are never absent from His mind. Jesus Christ came to this Earth and stood before the children of men with the amassed love of eternity, and through our connection with Him, we are to receive, to reveal, and to impart this treasure.
