It is our privilege to walk with God by faith. Our Heavenly Father wants His Earth-born sons and daughters to be happy and possessing the peace which passes all understanding. So often we live as if we were in a parched desert, with little peace or joy. This is all due to a lack of faith in God. We claim little when God wants us to claim much from Him; for there is no limit to the promises of God!
When we exercise faith in God, we will come into possession of the blessings of peace, hope, joy and happiness. Prayer is Heaven’s appointed means of success in the development of a Christ-like character. Divine power will accomplish everything for which we ask, our part is to pray and believe. We must co-operate with the God of Heaven whose ears are always open to hear our prayers. We must act and talk in conformity with our prayers.
When trials and cares assail you, trust all with God. The tendency to tell our difficulties to others only weakens us and brings no good to them, it only burdens them with problems that they most often cannot alleviate. On the other hand, God is close beside us, and He longs to have us reach out to Him by faith; He wants you to expect great things from Him. It is your glorious privilege to go straight to your Infinite Father God with all of your problems. Our Heavenly Father is a very present help in times of trouble, and we need to exercise far more confidence in what God can, and will do, for every believing soul.
