Start Your Day With Him
So often we dwell on the run of the mill, hum drum things of daily life, and keep our minds down here in the lowlands of earth. Our experience with God is superficial and empty. How can we while in this state, reflect the image of Jesus, and rejoice in the love of God? How can we be filled with His pleasure and pure unalloyed joy? The answer lies in having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Start your day with Him; allow the transforming grace of God to work in your heart. Study the wonderful life of Jesus Christ and let Him be your guide and pattern. Let your mind dwell on His perfect life and character, and pray that the Lord will change you into His divine image. The glorious second coming of Jesus Christ is soon to take place in the clouds of heaven; every eye shall see Him, and we must be prepared to meet Him in peace.
In this world we are to be all aglow in good works. Let nothing hinder you from making the necessary preparation each day for the coming of Jesus. The Lord desires, and positively instructs His people to reflect His character and love, as Christ reflected it. As we look to Jesus, our lives will shine with that marvellous light. Every part of us is to be full of light; then whichever way we turn, light will be reflected from us to others. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. In Jesus there is no darkness at all; so correspondingly, if we are in Christ, there will be no darkness in us either. There is truly no limit to the usefulness of any one of God’s earth born children who, putting self aside, makes room for the working of the Holy Spirit upon their heart, and lives their life wholly dedicated to God.
When Jesus comes in His glory with all of the holy angels with Him, His majesty will be revealed; and then the world will wish they had His favour. At that time, everyone will earnestly desire to have a place in the mansions of heaven. Heaven is a beautiful pure place; free from all pollution, impurity, depravity and evil; and all who wish to live in its untainted atmosphere for eternity, beholding the glory of Jesus, must, in this probationary life, perfect their character through the righteousness and grace of Jesus Christ. It is impossible to describe the happiness of those who will be ready, by the grace of God, for the coming of Jesus. God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and everlasting life, with all of its attendant glories and pleasures, will be theirs. No language can describe the wonders of the glorious future that God has prepared for them that love Him. The redeemed will live a life for eternity that corresponds with the life of God!
GOD LOVES YOU!
